Updated Havamal Distribution Program

May 5, 2018

The Hávamál (English: /ˈhɑːvəmɑːl/ HAH-və-mahl; "sayings of the high one"; Old Norse pronunciation: [ˈhɒːwaˌmɒːl], Icelandic pronunciation: [ˈhaːvaˌmaul̥]) is presented as a single poem in a collection of Old Norse poems from the Viking age. It is often a go-to for comfort in hard times, and provides strength and courage to those who read its words. Many modern day Heathens, swear by it, and keep it upon them wherever they go. However, for some, getting their hands on one can be difficult for a myriad reasons.

Thats where we come in. It is one of our missions here at TAC to place the Havamal in the hands of those who deserve and need it. We have even published our own version to send out just for the occasion. It is our goal to send free, quality Havmal to all Servicemen and Women, Veterans, and for the first time, First Responders. Those who are eligible may fill out this form: https://form.jotform.com/60845446097969 and we will send you a free Havmal, as soon as possible, for free.

That all sounds pretty simple right? And it is, but here is where you come in. This all gets pretty expensive pretty fast, and as a non-profit that runs off of donations, we cant keep this program running for long despite all of our wants. That is, without your help, and the help of the community.

If you wish to help support sending Havamal to Veterans, First Responders, and Servicemen and women, than there are three things you can do:

  1. Buy a copy of the Havamal- Here

  2. Share this fundraiser

  3. Donate today!- https://www.gofundme.com/havamal-distribution-program

It is our hope that with the help of the community, we will be able to keep the program running. We have sent out hundreds, and we want to send out thousands!  Help us do this today!
